Responsibilities
* Undertakes adjustment and setting of specific equipment to carry out machining operations, based on a dossier and blueprints.
* Uses the appropriate machining tools.
* Machines pre-production items and prototypes, follows established controls to validate the first items manufactured in a production run.
* Looks for potential improvements to reduce wastage and keep within production time.
* Detects machining faults and seeks corrective actions.
* Ensures the required traceability (product/process), and reports on his or her work.
* Carries out first-level maintenance on equipment.
* Provides technical support and tutors new starters.
