Are you interested in supporting students at a Trafford based secondary school?
A local, small secondary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support during this Autumn term and potentially ongoing thereafter for the remainder of the school year.
This secondary school is situated in the Trafford area of Greater Manchester and is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to start with them ASAP during the Autumn term. The successful teaching assistant will be required from appointment for the remainder of the academic year with potential to continue into the new year in September. This appointment will initially be via Teaching Personnel on a supply basis with the opportunity to progress onto a school-based contract from September onwards.
Responsibilities
* Fulfil a full 360 degree role including supporting students in lessons.
* Assist students identified as having SEN and work with students in small groups.
* Be adaptable, confident and motivated to succeed in a wide variety of positions.
* Provide support across a variety of areas including as a teaching assistant and cover supervisor.
Contract, Hours and Pay
* Full-time teaching assistant required starting ASAP during the Autumn term for the remainder of the academic year.
* Hours typically 8:00am–4:00pm each day.
* Pay range: £1,975–£2,000 per month.
* Potential to secure a 1-year fixed-term contract, progressing to a school-based contract.
* Location: the school is in the heart of Trafford, with easy access by major bus routes and the M60.
