We are looking for experienced and ambitious PSV Mechanic / PSV Technician to join Arriva, based at our Luton Depot.
As a PSV Mechanic / PSV Technician, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses & coaches, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA.

12. This role is working rotating shifts between 6am - 2.30pm / 2pm - 10.30pm with overtime availability at time and a half - providing Technicians the opportunity to earn £37.50p/h for overtime!
The role of a PSV Mechanic / PSV Technician will involve:
13. Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
14. Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability.
15. MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks.
16. Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA).
17. Attending roadside breakdowns.
Requirements of a PSV Mechanic / PSV Technician:
18. Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation).
19. Previous experience within a PSV or HGV environment.
20. A full UK driving licence (6 points or less).
21. Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.
