Experience & Knowledge
UK-based social work experience.
Strong understanding of strengths-based practice, equality and diversity, safeguarding, and empowerment principles.
Knowledge of social work theories, ethical dilemmas, legal frameworks, and statutory duties.
Familiarity with data protection, accurate record-keeping, and resource management principles.Skills

Supervision & Leadership
Provide supervision and practice advice to Case Workers and Senior Case Workers.
Make professional decisions on complex cases and triage safeguarding referrals.Support & Advice
Manage referrals, resolve queries, escalate safeguarding concerns, and prepare clear reports.Relationship Management
Build positive relationships with service users, families, providers, and colleagues.Assessments
Conduct Section 9, 10, and 11 Care Act assessments, and mental capacity assessments.
Participate in Section 117 Mental Health Act discharge CPA meetings.
Autonomously manage a complex caseload, including urgent duty cases.Court Work
Prepare and present reports for court proceedings.
Lead on Section 21A MCA challenges, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) cases, and liaise with Coroners as required.Safeguarding
Adhere to safeguarding policies and professional codes of conduct.
Conduct and lead Section 42 enquiries, participate in multi-agency risk management meetings (MARMs), and support larger-scale safeguarding investigations.Continuous Improvement
Maintain up-to-date knowledge, attend training, engage in quality assurance, and uphold professional registration.Benefits:
