Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring effective team management and collaboration.
Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Assist in the training of new kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Handle food production efficiently while maintaining quality standards during busy service periods.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in other culinary roles within a restaurant setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
