About the role
What does the average day look like?
You will be at the core of our Occupational Health team, conducting clinical assessments such as health surveillance, fitness-to-work evaluations, and management referrals, all aligned with our standards and protocols. You will craft reports following Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines and advise on fitness for work and necessary adjustments, maintaining confidentiality. Additionally, you'll liaise with Occupational Health, Human Resources, and Line Managers to address emerging issues.
You will supervise Occupational Health Technicians, ensuring high-quality service delivery, manage employee health records in compliance with legal standards, and contribute to data collection and reporting for performance monitoring. Staying updated with industry guidelines and maintaining professional standards are vital to uphold service integrity.
We seek a dedicated professional to join our team, with a strong background in health surveillance and recent relevant experience. Your qualifications should include registration as a General Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register or Part 3, and a qualification in occupational health (diploma, degree, or MSC). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently, IT proficiency, and a solid understanding of legislation and GDPR compliance are essential.
