We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety and beverage preparation. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
* Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
* Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring an enjoyable experience.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
* Keep inventory of bar supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
* Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
* A friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* A genuine desire to help customers and enhance their dining experience.
