We are seeking a Marketing & Business Development Associate to support our firm's growth and day-to-day operations. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across marketing, business development, HR, and compliance.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist in delivering the firm’s marketing and business development strategy.
* Manage and update marketing materials, including brochures, website content, and social media platforms.
* Support event planning and coordination, including seminars, webinars, and networking events.
* Conduct research on clients, markets, and competitors to support business development initiatives.
* Communicate and build relationships with organisations and other third parties.
* Draft and proofread content for newsletters, press releases, and client-facing communications.
* Maintain and update client and contact databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDPR.
* Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client tenders.
* Provide support with day-to-day HR administration, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, and maintaining staff records.
* Liaise with candidates and recruitment agencies to support the hiring process.
* Assist with Legal Aid compliance tasks, ensuring files and processes meet regulatory standards.
* Support the Marketing & Business Development Coordinator with day-to-day administrative and strategic tasks.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to deliver firm-wide projects.
* Provide general administrative and reception support, including scheduling and handling telephone enquiries as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience within a law firm is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of marketing principles and business development strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in managing social media platforms and content creation.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
