About The Role
We are looking for a proactive, highly organised, service-focused individual to fulfill a crucial role within our Restructuring and Insolvency Team. Based in our Birmingham office, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of business support to fee earners in the team. Having oversight of the team’s workflow, you will coordinate support and ensure all business administrative needs of the team are met.
Responsibilities of a Legal Support Assistant:
1. Proactive diary management for the allocated Partner.
2. Liaising with the Partners to coordinate the distribution of administrative work across the team.
3. Providing administrative support for the allocated Partner, including minute-taking, drafting and formatting of letters, documents, and forms.
4. Managing case files, including opening, closing, storage, and retrieval, while ensuring all files are compliant.
About You
As a Legal Support Assistant, you will have:
* Experience within a legal or professional services environment.
* Experience in case management systems is desirable.
* A desire for continuous learning and professional development, with a strong ability to deliver solutions to problems.
* Sound IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite and Teams.
* A demonstrated history within an administrative role.
* Willingness to visit other office locations as required.
