Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable driver & helper to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role is essential in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and a commitment to providing excellent service while adhering to all safety regulations.
Duties
* Load and unload products, which may involve heavy lifting.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Experience
* Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is preferred.
* Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial, particularly in relation to loading and unloading goods.
* Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and customers.
