Job Purpose:
The practical provision of technical services in all venues, to include the use and operation of lighting, sound and stage equipment.
Key Task Area
* Day to day rigging, and operation of technical equipment.
* Upkeep, housekeeping, and maintenance of technical equipment and areas.
* To assist in presenting visiting shows to a high standard.
* Keeping abreast of staging, rigging, and flying equipment development

Essential Experience
* Some experience in receiving/producing house
* Experience of lifting & moving heavy loads
Essential Knowledge/Qualifications
* Proven interest in at least one of lighting, sound, staging and flying systems & rigging
* Some knowledge of receiving/producing house techniques
* Understanding and commitment to live performance

* Strong organisational skills
* Good communication skills
* Operation of technical control equipment
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
* Attention to detail
Desirable Experience
* Experience of repertory house
* Proven experience in major receiving house
Desirable Knowledge/Qualifications
* Hemp Flying

* Good people management skills
