Responsibilities
* Create mechanical part, assembly, and installation drawings using SolidWorks, and/or electrical system and loom wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.
* Support production and installation engineers with design-related queries.
* Conduct aircraft surveys to define and refine design solutions.
* Ensure all designs comply with the Design Office Handbook (DOH) and relevant certification standards.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based on site at Gloucestershire Airport.
Essential Experience
* Strong competence in mechanical and/or electrical design, including creation of detail drawings and engineering reports.
* Working knowledge of aerospace regulations or experience in other highly regulated industries (e.g., rail or nuclear).
* Proficient in CAD (training on our systems provided).
* Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant engineering subject or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
