Field Care Supervisor Job Type: Full-time Location: Leeds Salary: from £26,500 Join our community care service as a Field Care Supervisor (FCS) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between care staff, clients, and management, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met consistently. Day-to-Day of the Role: Conduct initial assessments, regular reviews of client care plans, and risk assessments. Perform spot checks, quality monitoring visits, and audits to ensure compliance with standards. Respond promptly to client concerns or complaints and escalate where necessary. Support care teams in coordinating health-related appointments and ensure all client interactions are updated in the Birdie system. Supervise, mentor, and support care workers in the field through regular supervisions, appraisals, and competency assessments. Assist with rota planning to ensure adequate staffing levels and provide emergency cover in the field as required. Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. Act as a liaison between clients, care workers, and management, ensuring effective communication and coordination. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in the care profession, with roles in recruitment, administration, quality assurance, or staff supervision. Clear understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and CQC regulations. Strong organisational and communication skills. Experience or qualifications in using IT systems and databases (e.g., Excel, Word) or electronic care management systems. First Aid, Moving and Handling, Medication training certifications, or willingness to obtain them. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, willing to travel. Self-motivated with a drive to develop personally and promote the business. Desirable Attributes: RFQ – Level 2/3 in Health Social Care or similar qualifications. Willingness to develop further in the field.
