Overview
This role is the overall lead for Boeing or Airbus new engine supply and interface with the customer, acting as the Customer integration point within Operations for the planning and delivery of installed engines to the airframer.
Reporting to the SVP – Customers within Operations, this role leads the account for installed engines for one of our two major airframer customers – one of Rolls‑Royce’s most significant revenue streams.

Responsibilities
* Overall lead for Boeing or Airbus new engine supply and interface with the customer, acting as the Customer integration point within Operations for the planning and delivery of installed engines to the airframer.
* Participates in the SIOP process for the given airframer’s products, ensuring that a clear and accurate view of customer demand is available before working with our A&T teams to develop the Operations response with plans to address supply or demand changes.
* Co‑ordinates installed engine delivery through MBU and Procurement inputs, A&T, GPL, podding and airframer assembly line to point of aircraft title transfer, working closely with the airframer Quality Executive, A&T, and with the local RR teams who support the airframer’s final assembly lines, to deal with any issues associated with engine availability, and engaging the commercial team where required.
* Delivers sales commitments in line with latest forecast/expectation, through working closely and effectively with our Large Engine Assembly & Test team and the Value Streams, and negotiating on Programme updates from the airframer to align the sales plan to the build plan.
* Acts as the key contact within RR for the airframer for all engine planning, industrialisation and execution activities, ensuring appropriate governance is in place and supported.
* Participate in the SIOP process, buying off the operational plan to support customer needs, then working between Rolls‑Royce and the customer through the execution phase, dealing with any arisings which may occur.
Qualifications
* You will have significant experience in a leadership role in Operations and/or in a customer‑facing role, with a track record of high performance.
* The challenge is significant, and success will require the ability to influence across the extended team including Assembly & Test, the Value Streams, Services and our functions.
* You will have excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to network, work across boundaries and build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation as well as with our customers.
* A high level of business acumen is also required as this is a very significant revenue stream.
* Degree educated.
* Experience in a safety‑first culture that values doing the right thing, keeping it simple and making a difference.
