About the role
Painting and prepping of Motor vehicles
Key responsibilities
•Ensure customer satisfaction in the repair and painting of motor vehicles of all types.
•Carry out such work in a safe and economical manner.
•Observe, recognise and report on vehicle structure and paintwork.
•Interpret and implement technical instruction data.
•Indent for replacement parts and record usage.
•Accurately use paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment.
•Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on job card.
•Attain manufacturers' and/or estimated repair/paint times.
Skills and experience
•ATA / NVQ level 3 Paint Technician.
•Good Communication skills.
•Good Decision Making/Problem solving skills.
•Good H&S knowledge/awareness and compliance.
•Time served repair technician.
•Good time management skills
•Relevant industry experience
