On behalf of one of our established clients we are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and dependable Office Manager / Administrator to oversee daily office operations and provide vital administrative and operational support to our site teams and senior management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, ensuring smooth communication, compliance, and efficiency across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily office operations, manage correspondence, visitors, and supplier relationships.

Maintain efficient filing systems and ensure data compliance.
*
Coordinate meetings, travel, diaries, and company events.
*
Manage office supplies, equipment, PPE, and workwear stock.
*
Support finance with purchase orders, invoicing, bookkeeping, and payroll coordination.
*
Maintain HR records, track training and certifications, and support H&S compliance.
*
Assist with accreditation renewals (e.g., CHAS, Constructionline, ISO).
*
Provide administrative support for tenders, PQQs, and project documentation.
*
Manage company vehicle and plant records (MOT, tax, insurance).
Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in office management or senior administration (construction or engineering preferred).
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Xero, Procore, or similar systems desirable.
*
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
*
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proactive, reliable, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion
