A top 10 professional services firm are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join their Corporate Reporting Advisory Team within the Audit Quality function. This is a key role in a growing team, offering the chance to shape technical excellence and influence audit quality across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical accounting advice and support across audit and advisory teams;
* Review annual reports for listed and high-risk entities, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and regulation;
* Deliver practical solutions to complex financial reporting issues;
* Develop guidance, tools, and thought leadership on emerging reporting topics;
* Lead training sessions and contribute to internal and external publications;
* Monitor regulatory developments and drive appropriate responses;
* Coach and support junior team members;
Experience:
* ACA/ICAS (or equivalent) qualified;
* Strong technical expertise in IFRS, UK GAAP, and Companies Act requirements;
* Experience reviewing financial statements of listed companies;
* Background in financial services (banking, fintech, alternative finance or insurance preferred)
* Proven ability to translate technical knowledge into clear, practical advice
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
