Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working on a brand new opportunity designed for a 1st time mover from an accountancy practice.
Our client manufactures bespoke components that are critical to the wind energy, tunnelling, rail infrastructure and construction sectors. This business has evolved into an international market with continuous growth over the past 5 years. The role is newly created following an internal promotion and will work alongside the Financial Controller, whilst supporting the wider finance function.
This role will predominantly include the consolidation of group management accounts, the consolidation of group cash-flow and the implementation of a group budgeting and forecasting process.
Duties and responsibilities to include:

Ownership of the production and consolidation of Group Management Accounts
*
Ownership of consolidation of group cashflow forecasting process
*
Assist in the implementation of new software across Group entities
*
Assist in the preparation of the Group annual budget and forecasting process – timetable issue through to board pack presentation
*
Lead the production of Group and UK subsidiary statutory accounts in line with IFRS and FRS 101 regulations
*
Act as a key point of contact for group financial audit
*
Responsibility for treasury management including multi-currency and authorising external payments
*
Collaborate with the Group Reporting Manage to ensure completion of Due Diligence tasks in a timely manner
