Conveyancer - Residential Property | Harrow
A well‑established, Lexcel and CQS‑accredited law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its national residential property team in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancer who can manage their own caseload and contribute to a high‑performing department.
About You
* Significant experience handling sales, purchases, remortgages, shared ownership, lease variations, new build purchases, Help to Buy and related matters
* Ideally 5+ years PQE (Solicitor, CLC or CILEX)
* Confident managing a full caseload independently and able to hit the ground running
* Strong local knowledge and experience working with residential property clients
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to post‑completion
* Handle residential sales and purchases
* Manage remortgage and equity release transactions
* Review and check titles for freehold and leasehold properties
* Manage transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers
* Provide guidance and training to conveyancing assistants
* Build and maintain client relationships within the local area
* Cross‑refer clients to other departments where appropriate
* Apply strong knowledge of the local property marketManage a varied residential property caseload efficiently and accurately
* Provide cover for other offices when required
