We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to lead the team at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Waltham Abbey.

Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:
* Manage all maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection
* Management of the departmental consumables and utilities budget as well as capital expenditure projects
* Ensure that preventative maintenance plans are in place to maintain the product and support energy conservation
* Maintain regulatory requirements and lead the emergency response team for all facility issues
* Ensure building and equipment licenses and certifications are current
* Maintain property life safety systems, fire fighting equipment, sprinkler systems and alarm systems
* Inspect guests rooms to ensure that they are ready for guest arrival
* Work alongside Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrival
* Prepare department rota's and monitor payroll inline with budget
* Manage the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems
* Distribute preventative maintenance and repair work orders and monitors timeliness and quality of completion
* Contacts contractors for bids and supervising construction to ensure timely completion of projects within budgetary guidelines
* Recruit, train and develop the maintenance team

* Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
* Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager
* Complete safety training and certifications
* Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
* Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
* Communicate with others using clear and professional language
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
* Support the team to reach common goals
* Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
* Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
