About the Role
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Gravesend is seeking an experienced and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to take on a long-term cover role within a mixed Year 3/4 class. This is a full teaching position, requiring full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
2. Plan, prepare, and assess pupils’ work to a high standard
3. Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
4. Monitor and support pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leadership
6. Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
8. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 3/4)
9. Strong classroom management skills
10. A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
11. Commitment to delivering high-quality education and supporting pupil development
