Interim Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid working)
Type: c6 month contract - could be extended longer
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
Elevation Interim Accountancy & Finance division are excited to be working with a well known business based in Sheffield city centre as they look to appoint an experienced Financial Compliance & Reporting Manager to cover a period of maternity leave.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and enhance the financial reporting and compliance service, overseeing financial transactions company-wide.
Ensure the integrity of finance systems and adherence to external regulations and internal policies.
Manage the external audit process, contributing to the implementation of the company's strategy.
Provide strategic direction in financial reporting and compliance activities, including year-end accounts preparation.
Utilise strong communication skills to advise stakeholders across the business on financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Contribute to the company's financial sustainability by offering high-quality finance-related reporting and advice.
Work closely with external auditors, providing relevant documentation as requested
Collaborate with the Finance and Procurement Team on diverse activities, from revenue collection to research proposal costing.
Required experience:
Full finance Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
Minimum of 2 years in a similar role and managing a team
Strong systems experience including Excel
Must be available to commit to interim contract for minimum of 6 months
