Job Title: Spray Painter
A reputable Bodyshop is currently seeking an experienced spray painter for professional painting of vehicle accident damage bodywork and parts.
Minimum Requirements:
* Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the motor industry.
* Experience with water-based paints is essential.
The ideal candidate must have worked in the motor industry, be able to produce a high-quality finish, and work independently.
Responsibilities include:
1. Handling painting equipment
2. Sanding and preparing the bodywork
3. Matching and mixing colours
4. Applying primer, main coats, and finishes
5. Cleaning and maintaining equipment
6. Preparing vehicles for painting
7. Touching up paintwork and polishing vehicles
8. Removing masking papers before waxing and polishing
9. Working within a spray booth to contain paint to specific areas
10. Maintaining a clean work area

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
Holidays: 29 days per year
Job details: Full-time, approximately 42 hours per week, including 2 Saturdays per month, with overtime and weekend availability.
