Electro Plater | Poole, Dorset | £16 per hour (depending on experience)

As an Electro Plater, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing metal components for plating, including cleaning, degreasing and masking
Operating electroplating tanks and associated power supplies
Monitoring current, voltage and solution temperatures during plating cycles
Checking plating thickness and surface quality against specifications
Inspecting finished components using visual inspection and measuring equipment
Maintaining accurate process records and safe working practices
As an Electro Plater, your experience will include:
Previous experience working as an Electro Plater
Knowledge of cadmium and or zinc-nickel plating processes
Strong understanding of surface preparation and process control
Experience measuring coating thickness and identifying defects
A methodical approach with strong attention to detail
