Amazon is looking for a creative, data-driven, and results-oriented marketing lead to own various marketing initiatives for Amazon Growth Services, who is able to drive build and increase relevance and engagement in our vendor offering.
Amazon Growth Services is a new suite of services that are offered to vendors to support their growth on E-commerce. This role uses marketing and insights to create best in class vendor experience. The role is responsible for designing the optimal vendor journey and building capabilities to realize the vision. They also manage branding and outbound communication of the Growth Services.
The ideal candidate must be able to think strategically and execute flawlessly. They must have strong communication skills and be able to influence cross-functional partners. They must be able to accurately understand vendor needs, think big and galvanize an organization around a central strategy. They must be able to deeply understand the vendor behavior by conducting research, including observation, in-context interviews, analogous industries, and, when appropriate, a hybrid approach with qualitative research and quantitative analysis running. They must be a brand protector who always puts the customer at the center and focuses on brand and messaging continuity. They will have a diverse and proven track record of building brands and delivering results.
The ideal candidate will utilize a data-driven approach to create and optimize sophisticated marketing programs, structure marketing plans, including communication plans, collaboration with vendors, and be able to pivot based in in-market performance and voice of vendors. This individual will excel in managing and navigating cross-functional efforts and be a customer advocate in all forums. You must be a self-starter with strong analytical ability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and an ability to drive innovative programs involving multiple stakeholders. In this role you will be expected to flex both analytical skills and creative muscles.
Key job responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
• Own a key role in Amazon Growth Services marketing function, including our financial planning and long-term planning over three year horizon.
• Develop the seasonal plans that cascade from our strategic long term plans and align the organization around top priorities and in-quarter initiatives.
• Build a long-term plan for awareness driving initiatives across Amazon Growth Services.
• Partner with our global counterparts to drive sharing and efficiency.
• Be the voice of the customer and lead all positioning and research centrally.
• Inspire the team through Think Big ideas and Customer Obsession.
