We are seeking to hire two solicitors for the team:
Solicitor (2–3 PQE) – Duty qualified and ready to handle police station and magistrates’ court work independently.
Solicitor/Trainee or Non-Qualified Fee Earner – With relevant criminal law experience, eager to develop into the role and provide support across the team.
These roles are vital for maintaining the firm’s high standards and supporting team growth following recent internal changes. The work will be based across Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield, and surrounding regional courts and police stations.
Key Requirements:
Duty Solicitor qualification preferred
Experience in criminal defence, Legal Aid, and advocacy
Ability to work independently, manage workloads under pressure, and attend police stations outside normal hours if required
Excellent communication, case management, and attention to detail
Commitment to professional development and succession planning within the team
