Job introduction
Are you a motivated and caring Registered Nurse based in the Kent area and passionate about the rehabilitation of the patients in your care? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our friendly and welcoming Community Nursing Team in Sheppey. This is a 7 day service with shifts from 8am to 8pm. Example shifts include 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm and 12pm-8pm. Full-time 37.5 hours per week or part-time 30 hours per week roles are available.
Main responsibilities
As a Community Nurse you will care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work to help us continue to change things for the better. You will use strong communication and organisational skills, with a flexible approach, to deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
You will care for patients and their families in a values-driven way, ensuring everyone feels valued when they come into contact with our organisation and the wider community we serve.
Essential requirements
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this role. We are looking for Band 5 Nurses with an RGN qualification and license to practice. Whether newly qualified or looking to use your NMC registration, you could be the right fit for our community nursing team. You will also need to be confident using IT systems and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
