Global Staffing/ Resource Lead


Key Responsibilities

This role leads global resource planning across 70 markets and segments, ensuring full visibility of staffing data and that all roles are effectively filled. It partners closely with commercial leads and global and regional business leaders across Production, Social & Influence, Connected Commerce, and Media to maintain 100% staffing across all markets.

The role also requires strong collaboration with key stakeholders and regional and local talent teams, serving as the central point for staffing queries and escalations while providing clear, timely communication and balancing commercial and operational priorities to enable efficient workforce planning.


Staffing Coordination

* Coordinate staffing update plans across markets and partner with the segment leads on priority hires.
* Align local activity with guidance and approvals from the Global Client Finance Lead.
* Track and maintain accurate records of headcount, role allocations, and staffing changes.
* Support workforce planning related to client transitions, new business, or structural changes.


Financial Alignment

* Partner with the Global Client Finance Lead to ensure staffing changes align with financial targets and client scope.
* Monitor role grades, cost allocations, and budget alignment for client teams.
* Support reconciliation of staffing data against finance and resource planning tools.


Onboarding

* Manage onboarding information for new hires joining client teams during transitions.
* Ensure role descriptions, reporting lines, and client team structures are clearly documented.
* Coordinate onboarding documentation and communication across HR, IT, and team leads.
* Support knowledge transfer and transition planning for team members moving between accounts.


Data & Reporting

* Maintain transition trackers and onboarding documentation.
* Provide regular updates to leadership on staffing status and transition progress.
* Ensure data integrity across resourcing, finance, and talent systems.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a key coordination point between:

* Client leadership teams
* Local market Talent Leads / HR teams
* Finance partners
* Facilitate communication around staffing timelines, approvals, and role requirements.

Data & Reporting

* Maintain transition trackers and onboarding documentation.
* Provide regular updates to leadership on staffing status and transition progress.
* Ensure data integrity across resourcing, finance, and talent systems.


Critical Skills

* Significant experience in resource management within media, advertising, or integrated marketing agencies.
* Proven success working across global or matrixed organisations with complex stakeholder groups.
* Strong understanding of how campaign workflows, production pipelines, and media processes operate.
* Confident working with commercial teams on scoping, fee structures, staffing models, and FTE modelling.
* Highly organised, process-driven, and detail-oriented, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity.
* Excellent relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficient in resource management methodology, with strong analytical skills.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting client demands.
