First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic national business who are looking to recruit multiple Roadside and Mobile Mechanics on a permanent basis due to growth based all across the country.
As a Roadside Mechanic, you’ll handle diverse breakdowns and technical issues, making technical expertise essential. With a base pay of £40,000, your earning potential is unlimited, with average earnings between £50,000 to £60,000.
As a Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
You’ll be equipped for success from day one – with your own van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

Duties and Responsibilities for a Roadside Mechanic:
1. You’ll be carrying out, diagnostics, roadside repairs and checks on various vehicles whilst providing the best customer experience possible.
2. You’ll be dealing with a variety of fixes, fixing all kinds of problems, and meeting different people every day.
3. Recovering and towing customers vehicles to their home address.
4. Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard.
5. Remain up to date with the latest vehicle technology and changes by attending Company training programmes.
6. If a vehicle can’t be fixed, then the issue can be escalated to the internal Mobile Mechanic team who will visit the customer at their home address to carry out necessary repairs.

7. You’ll be carrying out diagnostics and repairs & servicing on various vehicles whilst providing the best customer experience possible.
8. You’ll be dealing with a variety of fixes, fixing all kinds of problems, and meeting different people every day.
9. Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard.
10. Remain up to date with the latest vehicle technology and changes by attending Company training programmes.
Skills & Experience:
11. A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
12. Demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
13. A customer-focused approach
14. A full UK driving licence
MB909: Roadside Mechanic or Mobile Mechanic
Location: Liverpool and surrounding area
Salary: £40,000 + Overtime and bonuses ( £50,000 – £60,000 OTE)
Working Hours: Work pattern of 40-hours weekly, Monday to Friday with Saturday and Sunday rotas (various shifts to suit)
