What You’ll Do
Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift
7. Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team
8. Provide clear direction and step in to assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling
9. Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift
10. Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary
Drive Operational Excellence
11. Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards
12. Ensure proper execution of inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication
13. Oversee key store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation
14. Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day
Model Communication & Accountability
15. Effectively relay important updates from the leadership team to shift associates
16. Monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to drive results
17. Support a team culture rooted in accountability, respect, and teamwork
18. Proactively step in during busy times or challenges—showing your team what great leadership looks like
What We’re Looking For
19. 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred)
20. 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
21. Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments
22. Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same
23. Strong communication and team building skills
Must Haves for this Role
24. High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed)
25. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks
26. Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.)

Responsibilities:
27. Supervises and monitors adherence to all safety-related regulations, including food safety regulations.
28. Participates in daily store operational activities as needed:Rings up guests on a cash registerEnsures the store is clean and well maintainedStocks shelves and coolers and takes inventory on shelf items.
29. Has the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job, with no or infrequent breaks.
30. Greets and interacts with new and regular guests in a genuine manner and suggests products that complement purchase to enhance the guest experience.
31. Manages the store operations on designated shifts.
32. Maintains inventory in a neat and organized manner.
33. Provides prompt, efficient and courteous service.
34. Fosters positive and professional relationships with co-workers and guests, communicates respectfully, and maintains a consistent team-oriented attitude.
35. Addresses any employee and guest concerns on designated shifts.
36. Sets a leading example of RaceTrac’s Core Values, Leadership Qualities and the RaceTrac Way to entire team.
37. Oversees, coaches, trains and develops store team members.
38. Directs, plans and apportions the work of store team members on designated shifts.
