Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant (TA)

Pay Rate: Up to £120 per day

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join schools in Doncaster. As a KS2 TA, this role provides the opportunity to assist teachers in delivering lessons, support pupils’ learning, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Provide support to pupils individually or in small groups across KS2.
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
* Help pupils develop confidence, engagement, and independence in their learning.
* Prepare and organise classroom resources.
* Support positive behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
* Monitor pupil progress and communicate feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements for KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate pupils.
* Ability to adapt to pupils’ individual needs and learning styles.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
