Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop a full understanding of project details, designs, and specifications.
* Compile and manage technical submittals as directed by the Project or Contracts Manager.
* Collaborate with project teams, including Contracts, Project Management, Design, and Quantity Surveying, to support progress reporting.
* Ensure all project‑related email communication includes the correct job reference.
* Raise Requests for Information (RFIs) and maintain the RFI schedule.
* Follow up on orders for long‑lead equipment and materials.
* Ensure the latest drawing revisions are being used on site.
* Redline drawings with as‑built information and issue updates to the design team.
* Monitor and report on subcontractor compliance.
* Attend site meetings as required.
* Support the Quantity Surveyor with variations, change documentation, and procurement activities.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable building regulations, industry standards, and health & safety requirements.
* Adhere to all company EHSQ policies and procedures.
* Assist in compiling Operation & Maintenance Manuals, commissioning documentation, and handover materials.
* Maintain accurate records within the document management system.
* Undertake additional tasks as required to support the project.
Qualifications
* Degree‑level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or a relevant trade background.
* Strong understanding of tendering processes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.
* Willingness to learn, adapt, and support multiple aspects of project delivery.
