Our client, a long-established family-run law practice in Bury, is seeking a proactive and hands-on Practice Manager to play a key role in the smooth running and continued growth of their business. About the Firm This well-respected practice prides itself on its approachable culture, strong community ties, and client-first approach. You’ll be joining a close-knit team that values collaboration and integrity. The Role As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellent client service. Your remit will include: * Overseeing HR, finance, and administrative functions * Managing budgets, billing, and supplier relationships * Ensuring SRA compliance and maintaining firm policies and procedures * Supporting partners with strategic planning and business development * Leading and motivating the support team to deliver exceptional service About You We’re looking for someone with: * Previous experience as a Practice Manager (Within a legal environment) * Strong organisational, financial, and people management skills * Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities * A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously * Experience of working with Legal Aid would be an advantage What’s on Offer * Competitive salary up to £55,000 (depending on experience) * Free on-site parking * Excellent public transport links – just a short walk from the Metrolink * Supportive, family-oriented working environment
