Position: Sustainability Consultant - Energy Modelling Focus (IES)
Location: Hybrid/Min 3 days a week attendance in London Office
Type: Full-Time
About us:
Elevate Everywhere is a B Corp certified sustainable engineering practice that helps organisations unlock the potential of energy, power, heat, and cooling to actively improve the world around us. We have three core teams that work together to create measurable, positive change in buildings and infrastructure:
Analyse & Intelligence (sustainability and data)
Design (MEP)
Evolve (heat network operations and facilities management)
The opportunity:
We're an ambitious, fast growing team - which is exciting, and it means everyone plays an active role in moving work forward. We value people who take ownership, bring initiative, and learn quickly as we build.
This role sits within our Analyse & Intelligence Team, where we use data and engineering insight to deliver actionable outcomes, including decarbonisation strategies, heat network optimisation studies, whole life carbon assessments, and energy modelling.
Because we're a smaller, fast moving consultancy, this is a genuine opportunity to build breadth, confidence and credibility quickly. You'll get early exposure to clients, varied sectors and project types, and you'll be trusted to take work from question to answer - shaping the approach, delivering the outputs, and seeing the impact of what you produce.
You'll also have the chance to stretch beyond a single specialism when priorities shift. We wear multiple hats, which means you'll develop a wider toolkit, learn faster, and stay close to the full picture of how projects are won and delivered.
What you'll do
You'll lead delivery of energy modelling outputs using IES, creating robust modelling approaches, clear assumptions, quality-checked results, and practical recommendations that design teams and clients can act on.
You'll take technical ownership of IES led delivery day-to-day (especially TM52/TM59 and TM54). You'll have full support from the wider team, but you'll be the person driving it forward. This is a role where you can make a visible impact: we're building, not just maintaining.
And while energy modelling is your core focus, you'll also contribute to other Analyse team workstreams as projects require, bringing the same rigour and ownership to whatever's most valuable for clients.
Key focus areas
IES modelling delivery (hands-on, end-to-end) including:
TM52 / TM59 overheating
TM54 operational energy
Clear reporting and communication of results (clients & design teams)
Supporting other workstreams when required (e.g. decarb options, heat networks analysis, WLC inputs, planning support)
Improving how we deliver as we scale: QA, templates, internal guidance, ways of working
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is confident delivering IES modelling work, but who also thrives in a "build and improve" environment where initiative matters.
You'll do well here if you
Can technically deliver projects using IES (not just assist), with strong TM52/TM59 and TM54 experience
Take initiative, own tasks, and keep momentum without needing heavy supervision
Are agile and adaptable, and enjoy taking on new challenges beyond your core focus when projects require it
Communicate clearly, care about quality, and can explain technical results simply
Why Elevate
You'll join a mission-driven team and have real ownership, but you won't be working in isolation - you'll have support, open access to the wider team, and plenty of chances to learn as you deliver.
