Quality Inspector - Fabrication
Stoke-on-Trent
£35,000 - £38,000 DOE
Days - Monday to Friday (40 hrs/week)

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in steel fabrication and a keen eye for detail? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of shelters and street furniture who are looking to strengthen their quality team at their Stoke-on-Trent facility.
The Role
As Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of quality across both standard and bespoke shelter products. This includes:
* Conducting 100% inspections: visual, patrol, and first-off
* Performing dimensional measurements against engineering drawings
* Recording and compiling internal part approval packs
* Reviewing in-house bespoke projects to identify potential issues pre-production
* Capturing quality issues at source to reduce business impact
* Supporting fabrication teams with drawing/BOM/process queries
What We're Looking For
* Essential:
o Solid understanding of mild and stainless steel fabrication
o Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
o Clear and factual communication skills across teams
* Desirable:
o Experience in weld inspection, including dye penetrant testing
