Chef, Cook, all rounder, required in a very busy café/ tea room/ restaurant. We offer all day breakfasts, amazing cakes, Afternoon Teas, great roasts and a variety of savoury dishes daily. Experience in a fast paced environment and Level2 needed. Small friendly team, straight shifts, excellent work/ life balance, food provided during shift. Due to the rural location, driving is a must. Long term position to cover Friday, Saturday AND Sunday minimum (other week days available for the right person). Shifts can vary (8.30 to 11 start until close: between 3.30 and 5.00 depending on how busy we are).

Responsibilities: - Lead kitchen and cook food to a high standard. - Assist in food preparation and cooking under supervision of head chef - Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes - Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures - Help with inventory management and stock rotation - Assist in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
Requirements: - Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting IS required - Good knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Excellent communication and teamwork skills Notes: This position involves standing for long periods of time and sometimes lifting heavy objects.
