EMEA Subcontracting Category Manager
Hybrid working - Travel required to UK/Spain/Germany/France

Otis use subcontractor companies to install elevators and escalators globally. Subcontractor mechanics work alongside Otis Mechanics and work to the same high standards.
As a EMEA Subcontracting Category Manager, you will:
1. Provide leadership for the field subcontracted services spend category across EMEA countries
2. Develop strategies to optimize total cost, capacity, quality, safety and compliance.
3. Partner with EHS and field operations to establish robust field subcontractor performance management system
4. Partner with regional stakeholders across EMEA to support the deployment and implementation of Global Strategies on field subcontractor categories, to leverage spending, generate supplier synergies and share best practices.
5. Challenge existing processes, specifications, operating models, tools and practices.
6. Develop and implement field subcontractor relationship management process to drive a competitive advantage through partnerships, collaboration, and ongoing development and training.
Your profile to be successful in this role:
7. Fluent in English and in another European language (French, Spanish, German)
8. 10+ years’ proven experience in procuring subcontracting services in the construction field, including developing the strategy, managing suppliers, and driving compliance, savings, and process efficiency in a global environment
9. Proven ability to lead cross functionally, especially with key stakeholders in EHS and the field, including understanding of cross functional business requirements like safety and compliance, as well as motivating in a matrixed organization.
10. Ability to communicate with field operations, supply chain managers, leadership, and suppliers, and excellent listening skills.
Travel: 25 to 35% of the time, in EMEA region mainly.
