Job Function
In the chill production line area, conduct cleaning and hygiene operations to meet deadlines, while complying at all times with company operating requirements, especially in respect of quality, health, safety & ethics, traceability, product integrity, labelling, and company, personal & food hygiene rules and legislation.
Ensure full compliance with relevant Legal, National, Corporate, and Retailer standards, delivering improved quality and hygiene to customers, both internal and external, reducing complaints and costs to the organization.
Main Responsibilities
1. Complete required hygiene activities meeting company standards according to the planned volume and schedule.
2. Ensure strict adherence to quality, food safety, hygiene, ethical, product labelling, and allergen handling processes.
3. Support line efficiency through consistent and correct schedule adherence and hygiene practices.
4. Keep and maintain appropriate records as required.
5. Ensure familiarity and compliance with company policies, procedures, standards of operation, and safe operating procedures.
6. Maintain consistent and timely attendance at work.
7. Provide flexibility to meet company operating requirements.
8. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and managers both verbally and in writing.
9. Use chemicals properly and adhere to food and personal safety practices at all times.
10. Support team performance, efficiency, service levels, and employee engagement.
11. Invest in personal learning and development and support the development of others.
12. Support trainee development to ensure the 'next generation' workforce.
13. Ensure all products are sourced and manufactured according to Food Safety & Brand Integrity requirements, customer specifications, and BRC standards.
