Job summary

**This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the 'ECT Family' this includes currentEast Cheshire NHS Trust employees,both NHSP and ECT bank staff, ISS staff and volunteers at the Trust. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from applicants not listed within these groups.**

We are looking to appoint a part time position and seek an enthusiastic and motivated booking clerk to support our Radiology Booking Team .

You will need to be computer literate, flexible and willing to learn new skills. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and must have a positive and proactive approach to work. You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be dealing with staff and patients by phone, email and face to face. Knowledge of medical terminology, administration and organisational experience is essential.

Hours per week: 15

Main duties of the job

To work as part of the Radiology Booking Team to plan, book and schedule planned procedures ensuring that both Government and Trust targets are met.

Working with the Manager to ensure that all capacity is utilised efficiently and effectively.

Dealing with all administrative enquiries including face to face, incoming calls and emails and assisting patients and staff with booking/re-booking appointments.
