Role - Project Manager
Location - UK
Mint Selection are currently partnered with a leading EPC who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join them on a long term contract to oversee the delivery of a large scale energy project.
Scope of Work:
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects from inception through commissioning.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, civil, and mechanical engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders.
* Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
* Interface with clients, regulators, utility providers, and landowners as needed.
* Manage procurement of materials, services, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
* Prepare and present project progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.
* Resolve technical and logistical challenges during project execution.
* Support grid connection applications, permitting processes, and contractual negotiations when required.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in renewable energy (Solar, BESS) or infrastructure projects.
* Demonstrable experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex technical scopes.
* Knowledge of Civils, Mechanical and Electrical works preferably. However, mainly Electrical.
* Familiarity with renewable energy systems, grid interconnection processes, and EPC contracts.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Ability to travel to project sites as required.
These will be 6 month renewable contracts and are outside IR35.
