RPS is seeking an Associate Director Town Planner for our National Development & Infrastructure Planning Team, collaborating with our Environment Division. In this role, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a variety of planning applications, including residential, mixed-use developments, data centres, airports, retail, logistics, and major infrastructure projects. You will also contribute to business growth and mentor junior planners.

Responsibilities
1. Developing and maintaining client relationships.
2. Mentoring junior planners.
3. Contributing to business planning and leading planning meetings.
4. Preparing fee proposals and tender submissions.
5. Representing the company in Local Plan consultations and Examinations.
6. Managing projects, coordinating teams, overseeing finances, and ensuring timely delivery.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified MRTPI or relevant discipline.
* Experience in large energy and infrastructure projects, including Environmental Impact Assessments.
* Full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
* Proven track record in winning sustainable, viable projects.
* Strong financial and project management skills.
* Excellent influencing and communication skills.
