The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful Maths department from September 2026.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and specialism. You will inspire students to develop confidence, fluency, and problem-solving skills in mathematics, supporting them to achieve excellent academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Deliver well-planned, challenging and engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
Develop students’ fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Use assessment data effectively to track progress and inform planning
Provide targeted intervention and support to ensure strong student outcomes
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental resources
Promote high standards of numeracy across the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Ability to teach Maths confidently at GCSE level (A-Level desirable)
A passion for making mathematics accessible, engaging and challenging
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to the values and ethos of a Church of England school
A reflective and collaborative approach to professional practice
