Are you a problem-solving Senior Infrastructure Engineer looking for a new opportunity?
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic, growing team in Uxbridge, London.
You will be involved in the day to day supporting of the business' environments and systems and will also include delivering on projects and working closely with the rest of the fast-paced team on supporting a user base of circa 350 people.
The areas of work will include (but not be limited to):
* Network administration and Windows Server administration
* Apply security updates and patches across multiple environments, devices and applications. Proactively monitor vulnerability reports to ensure all systems are secure.
* Working on and administering our VMware platform, including host management, storage management, and HA technologies.
O365 and Azure experience with a focus on security across all technology areas would be beneficial.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
* Office 365 and Azure Tenant support and configuration (includes Intune & ATP)
* SCCM administration: includes all MS and third-party application patching
* Network and VPN configuration support and administration with a focus on Meraki
* Windows 2016/2019 server system administration / Active Directory / Group Policy
* Information Security – ensure all infrastructure has information security embedded
* Participate in infrastructure projects and ensure timelines are adhered to
* VMWare platform support and configuration (HA, VMotion, SAN storage)
* MS Exchange 0365 and 2016 Hybrid management and maintenance
* Troubleshooting network protocols (TCP/IP, SFTP, SMB, etc)
* Branch office support, to include both remote and on-site
* Communicate at all levels both internal and external by telephone, electronically, and in person
* PC/Laptop hardware configuration and troubleshooting skills
* Microsoft Windows 10 system administration
* Desktop imaging technologies
* Printer and copier server configuration / maintenance (follow-me-print)
* Disaster recovery / BCP – undertake rehearsals and input into the maintenance of the BCP
