The Social Work section within the School of Law and Applied Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a Full-Time Lecturer in Social Work. The School is a vibrant academic community and a leading provider of undergraduate and postgraduate social work education in Scotland.
As a Lecturer, you will contribute to course development and delivery, focusing on teaching across three social work qualification routes, and engage in research and consultancy activities. You should hold a relevant degree and a professional qualification in social work, with substantial experience in contemporary social work practice.

Principal duties include:
1. Teaching and assessment duties as assigned
2. Development of teaching materials
3. Providing student guidance
4. Supervising projects
5. Maintaining subject expertise
6. Curriculum development
7. Administrative responsibilities
8. Supporting student practice learning
9. Promoting the School and its courses
10. Participating in staff development
11. Engaging in research and consultancy
12. Building professional links
13. Representing the School on committees
14. Other duties as required
