First Option Healthcare are seeking a Care Manager to oversee high-risk mental health care packages requiring crisis intervention. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in managing complex and safeguarding-led cases, including trauma, exploitation, substance misuse, gang affiliation, and individuals at high risk of going missing. You will coordinate care packages, provide oversight and support to staff, and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams MDT including NHS mental health services, social care, safeguarding leads, police, and commissioners to ensure safe, responsive, and person-centred care. Key Responsibilities ▪️Manage and coordinate high-risk mental health and crisis care packages ▪️Ensure safe, reliable staffing with appropriately skilled professionals ▪️Respond calmly and decisively to incidents, safeguarding concerns, and missing-from-care situations ▪️Liaise with MDT professionals to contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and multi-agency meetings ▪️Support and supervise staff, providing guidance in complex and high-risk environments ▪️Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with CQC standards ▪️Contribute to safeguarding investigations and clinical reviews where required What We Are Looking For ▪️Experience managing complex or high-risk mental health cases ▪️Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in crisis situations ▪️Strong communication, organisational, and multi-agency collaboration skills ▪️Knowledge of trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and risk management protocols Why Join Us ▪️Supportive, clinically-led team with structured guidance and reflective practice ▪️CQC rated Good, reflecting our commitment to safe, high-quality care ▪️Career progression opportunities within the team and across the wider organisation ▪️Access to specialist training and ongoing professional development ▪️Make a genuine impact supporting individuals with complex and high-risk needs ▪️Flexible working, including the ability to work from home on Fridays Working hours: 37.5.
