Offer description

Coordination of maintenance and repair works in communal and tenant areas of the commercial buildings, liaising with the Estates department and tenants accordingly.

1. Work independently to manage and successfully deliver small & ad-hoc projects requiring prioritisation, overseeing contract work, liaising with other departments.
2. Organising & observing fire evacuations in commercial buildings. Creating and maintaining schedules and providing records to the Fire Safety & Security team to maintain UKAEA records of risk assessments and responsible persons, sharing with internal stakeholders as appropriate. Ensuring actions from drill observations are reported, actioned, and closed out.
3. Working with the Buildings & Facilities Manager to ensure key milestones, such as tenant periodic reviews, fire evacuations, legionella risk assessments, and communal building inspections, are met. Maintain accurate records of actions raised by tenants or UKAEA and ensure these are closed out by the appropriate department.
4. Serve as the first point of contact for tenant issues, ensuring Helpdesk tickets are raised and engaging effectively with UKAEA departments to coordinate works for timely progress and resolution.
5. Produce reports and statistics to identify and analyse trends.
6. Review, create, and implement processes and procedures within the Commercial Property department.
7. Identify and promote opportunities for continuous improvement across UKAEA departments.
8. Work collaboratively with Maintenance teams and tenants to facilitate new and replacement system installations in both tenanted and common areas.
9. Organise Quarterly Tenant Security Meetings in collaboration with the Business Resilience Department.
10. Represent the Commercial Property team as a tenant liaison member of the site Crisis Management Team (CMT). Attend RADSAFE exercises and weekly Security Threat and Business Continuity Briefings.


Experience Required:

* Demonstrable knowledge of working within a Buildings and Facilities environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven high-quality customer service skills & customer-driven approach.
* Ability to negotiate and resolve problems proactively.
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
* Ability to network and build relationships.
* Strong organisational skills, including multitasking, time management, and prioritisation.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* A broad knowledge base, with a reactive component.
* Assertiveness when dealing with contractors to ensure instructions are understood and followed, and ability to challenge poor performance.
* Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and extensive knowledge of UKAEA systems and procedures.
