Summary
We are looking for an Apprentice Cabling Engineer to join our delivery team, helping to install and maintain structured cabling systems (Cat6, fibre optics, and associated infrastructure). This apprenticeship offers a pathway into a high demand career, combining technical skills, industry recognised qualifications, and hands on project experience in a supportive environment.

Working Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hrs per week (site-based)
Salary:
£16,000 to £18,000
Role and Responsibilities:
· Install Cat6 structured cabling systems (faceplates, trunking, patch panels)
· Support fibre optic installations (cable pulling, patching, termination, and testing)
· Assist with cabinet builds, labelling, and documentation
· Learn how to read technical drawings, RAMS, and site permits
· Maintain safe working practices and follow H&S protocols
· Support engineers on live sites, developing independence over time
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
· Full UK Driving License (E)

· Practical mindset, keen to learn hands-on technical skills
· Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
· Team player with strong communication skills
· Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude
