Housekeeping Assistant at HC One
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment that reflects your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and care.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although full training will be provided. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, and strong communication skills—both listening and instructing—are vital. You'll communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues alike.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their roles and undertake additional training as needed. You should be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
