A science-driven digital health scale-up seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to build our global IP licensing engine from the ground up. Lead high-value technology licensing negotiations with tier-1 OEMs in Consumer Electronics, Automotive, and Display sectors. Requirements: Experience: 5-10 years securing IP licensing or technology integration deals (NOT traditional product sales). Hardware licensing experience in Consumer Electronics, Display, OR Automotive sectors required. Enterprise sales cycles with tier-1 global OEMs. Proven track record closing complex licensing agreements. Skills: Technical fluency - Communicate with CTOs, engineers, R&D teams. Stakeholder management - Influence C-suite and technical decision-makers. Entrepreneurial ownership - Build commercial infrastructure from scratch. CRM strategy - Structure pipelines, workflows, and partnership processes. Comfortable in fast-moving, founder-led startup environment. Travel: International travel to meetings, conferences, trade shows (Europe, Asia, North America). Key Responsibilities: Licensing Strategy & Execution: Design and execute global IP licensing playbook. Lead outbound licensing initiatives into Consumer Electronics, Display, Automotive. Build repeatable processes for identifying and converting OEM partners. Structure and prioritize CRM workflows and lead pipeline. Deal Negotiation & Closing: Manage full-cycle licensing and technology integration agreements. Navigate long enterprise sales cycles with global tier-1 players. Influence senior R&D, innovation, product, and executive stakeholders. Close high-value technology partnerships. Technical Translation: Master patented near-infrared light technology. Articulate scientific value to technical and commercial audiences. Bridge conversations between science, engineering, and business outcomes. Global Representation: Represent at international industry events and trade shows. Be the face of our technology to potential partners worldwide. Build relationships with key decision-makers across target sectors.
