Your Role: Package Engineer
As a vital member of our project team, reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will:
* Oversee the design, coordination, and management of multiple subcontractors across various trades.
* Interface with internal departments and external agencies, including Architects, Engineers, Construction Workers, and Client agents.
* Organize and conduct regular site progress meetings with subcontractors to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
* Ensure that SRM’s obligations to subcontractors are clearly understood and fulfilled.
* Keep the Chief Engineer and Project Manager/Project Director updated on all project issues.
Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about setting out and has the following qualifications:
* A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Ability to prepare a 3-week look-ahead programme with the assistance of a project planner.
* Proven experience in package management.
* Experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator is a plus.
* Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant regulations and quality standards.
* Currently pursuing or holding a construction industry-related professional membership (e.g., ICE, CIOB, RICS, CIBSE, IStructE).
